In partnership with Jean Coutu and powered by Rouge FM, the Véro & Louis Foundation is pleased to announce the return of the Foundation's sock fundraising campaign, bearing the famous slogan Différent comme toi, which stands for both inclusion and uniqueness.
The public is invited today to purchase one of the two sock trios specially created for this campaign, and become proud ambassadors of difference. The aim of this initiative is to support the Véro & Louis Foundation, whose mission is to create different, long-term living environments adapted to the needs of autistic adults aged 21 and over, with tailor-made educational support provided by specialized educators.
The first Maison Véro & Louis in Varennes has been in operation since 2021. It welcomes 20 residents and 5 community participants who thrive in a physical and social environment designed especially for them. Soon, new autistic people will be able to benefit from the Maison Véro & Louis model, as two projects are underway, in Victoriaville in the Mauricie Centre-du-Québec region and in St-Jérôme in the Laurentians.
This innovative housing model developed by the Véro & Louis Foundation is supported by several research projects that validate its approach and improve it in real time, with the aim of replicating the model across Quebec.

Available from the Fondation Véro & Louis online boutique boutique.fondationverolouis.com and participating Jean Coutu stores, the Foundation's socks are sold in trios (three pairs of socks per trio).
The price is $25 per trio.
Two trios are available:
Women's size - 6 to 10
Men's size - 6 to 12
“Very impressed by the progress made by the residents of Maison Véro & Louis in Varennes every year, we see that the home model created by the Foundation enables autistic adults to live fulfilling lives while developing their autonomy and potential. The positive repercussions for families are equally great. There is a crying need for housing, so we must continue our efforts to develop new Véro & Louis homes across Quebec,” say Véronique Cloutier and Louis Morissette, co-founders of the Véro & Louis Foundation.
The Foundation's sock campaign is made possible thanks to the contribution of our partners: Jean Coutu, Rouge FM, Groupe Robert. Special thanks also to our suppliers: Landed International, Tandem, Agence Caza, Bureau en gros and photographer Andréanne Gauthier.
Thank you for supporting our cause!
