Organize a fundraiser

Want to organize an event to benefit the Foundation? Here's where to start!

1. Think about your idea.

There are several options available to you. 
You could organize a sporting challenge, a show, concert, or another type of event to benefit the Foundation.

Want to get your company involved? You could offer a discount on the sale of a specific product.

The important thing is to choose a concept that suits you and makes you want to get involved. The possibilities are endless!

 

2. Think about the technical aspects and feasibility of the project.

Determine what logistical aspects need to be taken into consideration. For example:

  • Time of year
  • Equipment needed
  • Promotion of the event
  • Will you need volunteers?
  • Does the project involve expenses?
  • Could the project be of interest to sponsors in exchange for visibility?
  • Estimated revenue and net profits (after expenses)

 

3. Submit your idea.

Once your project is finalized, it's time to submit it! Contact our team, who will send you the form to complete. Each application received will be carefully reviewed to ensure that the project or fundraising activity is consistent with the Foundation's mission and values. Once the project is approved, you will receive the Foundation's logo, which you can use to promote your initiative.

4. Promote your initiative.

Use various means to promote your activity. Spread the word, use social media, print posters, etc.

 

5. Collect the funds and make your donation.

On the big day, don't hesitate to take photos and document how the project is going. Your notes could be useful for next year!

6. Thank the people who helped you.

Don't forget to thank the people who supported your initiative and let them know how much you've raised!

 

Please note

The Foundation cannot commit to systematically promoting all external initiatives or providing promotional materials. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Depending on your activity, you (and your collaborators) may be eligible to receive a tax receipt. Feel free to ask us any questions you may have about this.
