Différent comme toi 2025 Campaign!

Presented by RONA and Aubainerie, and powered by Rouge FM, the Véro & Louis Foundation's famous Différent comme toi fundraising campaign ran from March 13 to May 4. We'll soon be announcing the amount raised.

Throughout Autism Month, many of you proudly wore your Différent comme toi sweater. Thanks to your commitment, we were able to highlight the importance of acceptance, inclusion and valuing differences.

Each sweater worn is a concrete gesture that contributes to raising awareness and changing mentalities. 

THE IMPACT OF YOUR DONATIONS

Thanks to the generosity of Quebecers, the first seven editions of the campaign raised a net amount of nearly $2.7 million. The sums raised by the Foundation's various fundraising campaigns and by donations received throughout the year have had a tangible impact on the quality of life and well-being of adults with autism and their families, as they have helped to finance :

- the construction of Maisons Véro & Louis across Quebec. 
Based on the concept of the 1st Maison Véro & Louis to be built in Varennes in 2021, the future homes will accommodate 16 to 20 residents living in an environment fully adapted to their needs. Infrastructure will be provided for the Centre d'activités éducatives et socioprofessionnelles (CAESP), which will take in other autistic adults living in their family environment as well as the residents.
Two new home projects will soon be taking shape, in Victoriaville in the Mauricie-Centre-du-Québec region and in St-Jérôme in the Laurentians. Added to this is the interest and enthusiasm of the entire community in other regions of Quebec, with whom the Foundation is building relationships as its projects progress.

- the creation of a long-term fund
This reserve fund will be used to deal with unforeseen circumstances and ensure the long-term future of Maisons Véro & Louis. It will then be replenished on an ongoing basis from the Foundation's annual income.

-research projects
Les Maisons Véro & Louis is a genuine social innovation project that relies on research to validate and optimise its model on an ongoing basis. Our current and future research projects will help ensure the relevance of our homes, the quality standards of our services and improve the quality of life of autistic adults and their families.
