On October 28, 2026, Fondation Véro & Louis invites you to take part in its very first knowledge-sharing event dedicated to adapted living environments for autistic adults.

This day, organized in collaboration with the Autism Care Transformation Network (ACTN), will bring together community members, autistic individuals, family members, practitioners, organizations, and researchers around a shared goal: to better understand, together, the conditions that foster fulfilling living environments.

Making Research Accessible to Everyone

Since 2018, Fondation Véro & Louis has relied on research to develop and improve its housing model. Over the years, six projects have rigorously documented the impact of this model on residents’ quality of life.

This event aims to make this knowledge accessible, practical, and useful for a wider range of individuals and organizations involved in autism housing.

A Day of Exchange and Discovery

The program will include:

  • presentations of findings from Fondation Véro & Louis research projects;
  • highlights of other innovative housing initiatives in Quebec and elsewhere;
  • panels and discussions featuring researchers, organizations, and sector stakeholders;
  • a collective reflection on lessons learned from the intersection of research and lived experience.

By bringing together diverse perspectives, this event will provide a deeper understanding of the issues, challenges, and successes involved in developing adapted living environments.

An Event Not to Be Missed

The event will take place in person in Montreal on October 28, 2026, and will accommodate up to 250 participants.
