The Véro & Louis Foundation opened its doors to the Découverte TV show team to learn about the six research projects that have been carried out since 2018. As research has been part of the Foundation's DNA since its very beginnings, we are very pleased to share with you the work of our four teams of researchers from three Quebec universities who are working to develop the Maison Véro & Louis model, evaluating and adjusting it in real time.
We'd like to thank our researchers for combining their expertise to create an ideal housing model for autistic adults: the teams of Virginie LaSalle, professor in the Faculty of Planning at the Université de Montréal, Anne-Marie Nader, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université de Montréal, Malena Argumedes Charles, professor in the Faculty of Education at the Université de Sherbrooke, and Dany Lussier-Desrochers, professor and director of the Department of Psychoeducation and Social Work at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
We would also like to thank the Maison Véro & Louis team, as well as Alexis Beauchamp-Châtel, psychiatrist and administrator on the Board of Directors of Maison Véro & Louis, and Sarah Huxley, head of research and development at Maisons Véro & Louis, who work very hard to provide an adapted living environment for autistic adults.
And finally, a big thank you to the Découverte team for their curiosity and interest in our project.
