First edition of the Omnium Théo & Louis a huge success!

On September 26, EgR, Insurance Strategists held the first ever Omnium Théo & Louis. Over 250 guests from José Théodore’s and Louis Morissette’s professional and personal networks met on the greens of the prestigious Le Mirage golf club in Terrebonne. The two organizers joined forces and created this charity event to raise money for the Véro & Louis Foundation and for neuromuscular disease care, research and instruction at the Centre hospitalier universitaire Sainte-Justine and its Centre de réadaptation Marie Enfant (CRME).

Both generous philanthropists, the two men wanted to support causes that have affected them and in which they are actively involved. José Théodore and his wife Stéphanie Cloutier received the assistance of Dr. Cam-Tu Emilie Nguyen, pediatric neurologist at CHU Sainte-Justine when growing their family. With this fundraiser, they’re hoping to give other families hope for the health of their children. Louis Morissette, together with his wife Véronique Cloutier, founded the Véro & Louis Foundation whose mission is to create permanent homes specially designed for autistic individuals aged 21 and over, both with and without intellectual disabilities.

Thanks to the generosity of its participants, donors and sponsors, a net total of $470,000 was raised at the first edition of the Omnium Théo & Louis. A very special thanks to these supporters, without whom the event wouldn’t have been such a success.
