Last autumn, 12-year-old Adèle Bourque took part in the Radio-Canada programme Silence on joue. This televised quiz show, hosted by Patrice L'Écuyer, pits two teams against each other in a variety of intelligent and amusing games that put their quick wits, sense of logic and general knowledge to the test. However, this was a special show, the first edition in which the players were primary school-age children.
Adèle won all her games and the final, raising $3,400 for a charity of her choice. Her mother was recently diagnosed with the disease, so Adèle chose the Véro & Louis Foundation. We congratulate her on her performance and thank her so much for choosing us!
Just goes to show you can have fun and do good at the same time!
